Chocolate and red wine have one key thing in common – tannins – which are found in the seeds and skin of dark grapes, and also in cocoa beans.
After a tour of the property, experience this superb pairing with a tasting of 3 wines (Closerie de Camensac 2015, Château de Camensac 2010 and 2015) accompanied by fabulous handmade chocolates from Jordan Bac, an artisanal chocolate maker in Saint-Laurent-Médoc.

The hospitality was fabulous, we arrived a little early and they let us stay in the Chateau. The guide was extremely exhaustive in sharing the history of the area, Chateau and wine. Nice tour of the vineyards and winery. Very good wines tasted during the wine tasting as well. Well done for everything!

We booked a tour on the day and were the only ones there. The guide performed the tour brilliantly in English and was incredibly knowledgeable about the chateau, the wine process and general Bordeaux wine area. The tour took us all around the wine making process followed by a wine tasting of 2 great grand cru wines. We really enjoyed the visit and would recommend.
